Use Orbit lawfully, protect your access and configure community actions responsibly. We may protect the service against abuse and change or discontinue free and experimental features, while paid commitments and mandatory rights remain protected.
Applies to Orbit users, Discord server owners and administrators, developers, purchasers and anyone who submits content or uses an Orbit feature
Scope and agreement
These Terms govern access to and use of Orbit, a service operated by GamingForFun. Orbit includes its Discord application and bot, public and authenticated websites, APIs, Core Tools, optional modules, developer functions, support, notifications, plans and related benefits.
A contract arises only through a legally effective registration, installation, order or other agreement process. Reading these Terms, appearing in a Discord server or receiving a notice does not by itself mean that a person has accepted them. Anyone acting for a server or organisation confirms that they have the necessary authority.
Transaction-specific terms and valid individual agreements take priority for their subject. Discord and other third-party services remain governed by their own terms. Mandatory law and rights that cannot be waived always take priority over these Terms.
Eligibility, accounts and security
You must meet the age and other eligibility requirements that apply to Discord and to the feature or purchase you use. Where the law requires consent or representation by a parent, guardian or authorised person, you may use the relevant service only after that requirement has been met.
Orbit can use Discord sign-in and other identity methods that are expressly offered. A linked account does not automatically grant administrative rights. Information must be accurate, access may not be sold or shared, and you must protect sessions, credentials, recovery methods and devices against unauthorised use.
Use scoped delegation and API credentials only for authorised purposes and with the least access needed. Notify us promptly about suspected compromise and revoke obsolete access after team, role or ownership changes. We may require renewed authentication or proportionate verification before account recovery, sensitive changes or disclosure of protected information.
Relationship with Discord and other providers
Orbit is an independent service for Discord and is not Discord or sponsored by Discord. We do not control Discord accounts, servers, permissions, APIs, outages, enforcement, checkout or refund decisions. Provider changes can delay, restrict or prevent an Orbit feature.
Discord is authoritative for Discord identity, membership, role hierarchy, native permissions and Discord entitlements. Orbit may store or reconcile information needed to operate its features, but a displayed state can temporarily differ from Discord because events, caches and background work are not always immediate.
When a feature uses a payment, creator, hosting or other integration, the information shown for that integration also applies. Third-party terms do not reduce Orbit's own obligations for the service it supplies and do not remove your mandatory rights.
The Orbit service
Orbit provides configurable community tools such as moderation, automation, logging, member profiles, progression, forms, surveys, tickets, notifications, safety workflows, developer tools, commerce, virtual benefits and modules. Individual areas are optional and can be unavailable or globally or locally disabled. Availability depends on configuration, permissions, plan, platform policy, technical capacity and connected services.
Requests can be queued, retried, rejected or completed later. Discord permissions, role hierarchy, rate limits, conflicting settings, expired data and outages can affect the outcome. A preview, estimate, status indicator or accepted request is not confirmation that a downstream action completed.
Imports, exports, recovery and migration tools assist administration but do not replace appropriate backups or independent records. Orbit is not an emergency, law-enforcement, safety-critical or sole archival system. Keep direct Discord administration available for important community operations.
Support is provided through the channels and service levels expressly offered for the relevant account or plan. Unless a separate commitment says otherwise, no particular response time, resolution, feature roadmap or result is guaranteed. Legal and privacy contact routes remain available independently of optional product support.
Responsibilities of server owners and administrators
Server owners and authorised administrators decide which Orbit functions, channels, roles, rules, integrations and retention settings they enable. They must have authority for those decisions and comply with applicable law, Discord rules, their own community commitments and any duties to inform members or obtain consent.
Review permissions and high-impact rules before activation, test them where reasonable and provide a suitable correction or appeal route for consequential moderation and automated actions. Do not use Orbit for covert unlawful surveillance, discriminatory treatment or to evade Discord controls.
Limit staff and delegated access, keep settings and destinations current, remove content and integrations that are no longer needed, and review access after personnel or ownership changes. Administrators remain responsible for their community rules and decisions even when Orbit technically executes a configured action.
Automation, AI and moderation
Orbit can process commands, schedules, member activity, rules and model outputs to send or remove content, assign roles, create records, change progression or apply configured moderation actions. Depending on the feature, these effects can occur before a person reviews them.
Automated and AI outputs can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Model scores and risk signals are assistance, not verified facts about a person. Administrators must choose proportionate settings, review contested or high-impact outcomes and comply with any legal requirements for human involvement.
Orbit may keep the rule, relevant signals, result and audit trail needed to explain, retry or review an action. An appeal or correction can change the current effect without erasing the historical decision or records that must remain for accountability, security or legal claims.
We may block or pause an action, model, module or configuration where reasonably necessary to protect users, data, service stability, tenant boundaries, Discord compliance or the law. This protective right does not permit arbitrary withdrawal of an agreed paid benefit or a mandatory remedy.
Content, modules and intellectual property
You retain the rights you hold in content you submit. You confirm that you have the rights and legal authority needed to upload, publish or instruct Orbit to process it. Do not submit unlawful content, secrets or unnecessary personal data.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free licence to host, copy, transform, transmit and display submitted content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support and improve the chosen Orbit function. Public content may be distributed through the intended Orbit or Discord surfaces. Removing it from Orbit may not remove copies already delivered to Discord or another authorised recipient.
Modules may run only within the capabilities, permissions, data access, network destinations and limits approved for them. Developers are responsible for their code, listings, licences, privacy information and support statements. We may review, scan, quarantine, roll back, suspend or remove a module or version where necessary for security, law, platform policy or service integrity.
Orbit software, design, documentation, branding and original service content belong to us or our licensors. Use is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable for the applicable access period. Mandatory interoperability and reverse-engineering rights remain unaffected. Non-confidential feedback may be used without an obligation to implement or compensate it.
Forms can be operated by Orbit or by a server, and an official designation does not by itself identify the operator of the form. Observe the purpose, operator and access conditions shown for the submission. Administrators may close submissions or require sign-in. Reassigning a form does not automatically transfer historical responses to the new server.
Platform safety, cases and Sentinel
Orbit may provide server moderation, support, appeals and platform-level safety processes. Records can include reasons, evidence, communications, decisions, corrections and delivery history. Access is permission-controlled, and an appeal or report does not guarantee a particular result or response time.
Where globally enabled, Orbit Sentinel addresses serious cross-community risk and is not proof of criminal or civil wrongdoing. Reports and evidence can be combined and reviewed, but admission to an active entry and consequential platform decisions require authorised human action. Visibility and effects can be limited, corrected, suspended or removed after review.
Server-level actions remain the responsibility of the relevant server. Platform measures can separately restrict Orbit accounts, features or server access. Disabling a product surface does not necessarily reverse an existing Discord action or erase its records. A product appeal limit does not remove statutory privacy rights, the ability to report a factual error or an available legal remedy.
We may preserve proportionate evidence and restrict disclosure where necessary to protect affected people, reporters, security methods, an investigation or legal claims. We may still provide a meaningful reason and review route where appropriate and lawful.
Optional plans, purchases and subscriptions
Paid plans and a real-money shop are available only where expressly offered and can be globally unavailable. An enabled offering provides the features, limits, scope and period described at checkout. The checkout identifies the seller, price, currency, taxes, renewal terms, cancellation route and any additional terms. Benefits can depend on the account or Discord server selected and may not be transferable.
Payments can be processed through Discord, Stripe or another clearly identified provider. The provider handles payment credentials under its own terms; Orbit normally receives the transaction and entitlement information needed for fulfilment, support and fraud prevention, not full card details.
Subscriptions renew and can be cancelled as stated at checkout. Removing the bot, closing an Orbit account or disconnecting a provider does not by itself cancel a separate payment agreement. Cancellation normally ends future renewal while access continues until the end of the paid period unless the applicable terms state otherwise.
If a paid benefit is missing, materially changed or cannot be supplied, the notice, cure, cancellation, refund or other remedy required by the transaction terms and mandatory law remains available. Disabling new sales does not by itself cancel existing purchases. Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory rights for digital products, withdrawal, defects or updates.
Optional virtual benefits, rewards and promotions
Where globally enabled, Orbit can offer virtual currencies, points, inventory items, credits, rewards, trials and promotional benefits. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they are limited service features, not money, e-money, cryptoassets, securities or property, have no guaranteed cash value and cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged or paid out.
Eligibility, duration, limits, scope, expiry and redemption conditions are shown with the relevant offer. We may correct duplicates and documented errors, reverse fraudulent or abusive grants, and pause or globally disable new earning or redemption during reconciliation, security review or product changes. A disablement does not silently erase an existing balance or a mandatory claim.
Giveaways, surveys and promotions can have additional rules, budgets, audiences, regional or age restrictions and fulfilment conditions. The organiser is responsible for lawful rules and prizes. A code, reward preview, rarity or eligibility indication does not guarantee receipt until the server validates and completes it.
An installation recommendation can include a sponsored plan for the named server under the conditions shown. A reward requires the addressed user's eligible installation through that recommendation and confirmation that the bot actually joined. An equal or higher effective plan is not displaced; the promised sponsor period begins when the benefit is activated. Repeated invitations do not create repeated awards, and later restrictions can pause the recommendation without granting a second reward.
Acceptable use
Use Orbit lawfully, with the required authority and respect for others. Threats, exploitation, stalking, doxxing, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, credential theft, phishing, malware, spam, raids, unlawful surveillance and unlawful content are prohibited.
Do not bypass permissions, tenant separation, rate limits, purchase checks, moderation measures or module isolation. Do not manipulate evidence, audits, reviews, model labels, rewards, promotions or entitlements, interfere with the service, scrape protected data or access another person’s account, server or content without authorisation.
Security testing requires prior authorisation for its scope and methods. Minimise access to personal data and report findings privately. We may investigate suspected abuse, preserve necessary evidence and cooperate with Discord, providers or competent authorities where justified.
Restrictions and protective measures
We may warn, limit, suspend or terminate an account, server integration, credential, module, benefit or function where reasonably necessary because of a breach, unlawful conduct, security risk, fraud, invalid payment or entitlement, excessive load, provider enforcement or risk to others.
For urgent or serious risk, measures may take effect immediately. We may isolate code, rotate credentials, revoke sessions, stop delivery, freeze a disputed benefit, require verification and preserve relevant audit, security, commerce and abuse evidence while investigating.
We will consider severity, history, proportionality, available mitigation and the interests of affected people. Where appropriate and lawful, we will communicate the scope and a reason or review route. Details may be limited if disclosure would undermine security, privacy, fraud prevention, an investigation or a legal duty.
A review can confirm, change or lift an Orbit measure. Restrictions do not erase amounts lawfully due or records needed for claims, accounting, security or compliance. Mandatory consumer and privacy rights remain available.
Server restrictions can apply before Orbit is installed, to all server functions or to specified functions for a stated period. A rule attached to an owner's account can affect servers currently verified as owned by that account and change with ownership. A specific exception does not override an independent direct server restriction or a formal platform-standing measure. Keeping the bot in a restricted server does not mean its functions remain available.
Availability, limits and changes
Orbit depends on Discord, infrastructure and other providers and is not promised to be uninterrupted or error-free unless a separate service-level commitment says so. Maintenance, incidents, capacity limits, provider changes, global feature switches and security measures can make a function delayed, degraded, read-only or unavailable.
We may apply reasonable and proportionate fair-use, storage, request, upload, automation, AI, module and concurrency limits to protect reliable operation. Limits can vary by plan, feature, account, server or system condition. They do not silently remove an agreed paid benefit or mandatory remedy.
We may add, update, rename, replace, globally disable, limit or discontinue free, promotional, beta, preview and experimental functions. We may also make changes required for security, law, provider compatibility or service integrity, including urgent changes without advance notice where necessary. This is an additional operational right, not a right to make arbitrary changes to paid contracts.
Material changes to a paid offering or these Terms will be notified as required by law and the applicable contract. Where required, users retain a right to object, cancel, receive a substitute or obtain another remedy. Silence or continued browsing is not treated as consent where an express agreement is required.
Ending use and data consequences
You can stop using Orbit, revoke credentials, remove the bot, disable modules or close an account through the supported route. These actions have different effects and do not automatically cancel a subscription, erase all data or remove content already delivered to Discord or another recipient.
Export information you need and transfer relevant server or organisation ownership before ending access. After termination, use rights and non-transferable benefits end according to the applicable entitlement. Terms concerning payment, intellectual property, liability, disputes, audits and records continue where their purpose requires it.
We may retain limited information for accounting, security, fraud prevention, consent evidence, legal claims and compliance and will otherwise delete or anonymise it according to the Privacy Policy. Confirmed deletion may be irreversible, and restoration from expired or purged data is not guaranteed.
Conformity, warranties and liability
Paid digital services are provided in accordance with the contract and mandatory law. Statutory rights concerning conformity, defects, updates and remedies are not excluded. Where permitted, give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remedy a reported defect.
For free services and to the extent permitted by law, no additional guarantee is given for uninterrupted availability, suitability for a particular community, moderation result, model accuracy, compatibility with every provider change or future feature. Previews, scores, health indicators and documentation are not legal or professional advice.
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, fraudulently concealed defects, expressly assumed guarantees and any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
For slight negligence involving an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to the damage typical and reasonably foreseeable when the agreement was made. Subject to the preceding rules and mandatory law, liability is excluded for loss caused solely by unauthorised configuration, a third-party service outside our reasonable control or failure to keep reasonable backups and access safeguards.
You must take reasonable steps to reduce loss, including protecting credentials, reviewing permissions, disabling unsafe automation and reporting reproducible defects or incidents promptly. The limitations in this section also apply to our representatives and agents where legally permitted.
Law, disputes and contact
German law applies to the extent a choice is legally permitted. Consumers retain the mandatory protection of the law of their habitual residence and access to courts provided by applicable rules. Court jurisdiction follows mandatory procedural law.
Contacting support can help resolve a dispute but is not a prerequisite for urgent relief, a complaint to an authority or another available legal remedy. Information about consumer dispute resolution, where required, is provided in the legal notice or the relevant purchase information.
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. The invalid provision is replaced only as provided by law; this clause does not preserve an unfair term or reverse a burden of proof.
