Orbit, now with fewer blank screens

A broad reliability and product update for navigation, Discord data, forms, moderation workflows, mobile layouts, and the new content hub.

Reliability first

We rebuilt the route transition and query lifecycle around dynamic server pages. Moving between a guild workspace, the public server view, policy scopes, and module sub-pages now starts the correct request instead of leaving an empty shell behind.

  • Dynamic route changes now invalidate and reload the data that belongs to the new route.
  • Module sub-pages no longer wait forever without making a network request.
  • Recognised access and availability failures use the same structured error state across the dashboard.
  • Missing server icons use a stable generated fallback instead of a broken image.

Discord data without unnecessary Discord traffic

  • The Servers tab only shows guilds from your own Discord account, including for System Administrators.
  • Guilds are separated by whether Orbit is already installed.
  • Guild pages include a manual Discord-data refresh action.
  • Member search includes its own reload control.
  • Role and channel selectors refresh together after a manual reload.

Forms became a product, not a pile of inputs

The form builder, public form, submission review, and temporary response workspace now share one visual language. Builders can organise richer question types, preview the real respondent experience, control Discord requirements, and review submissions without guessing what the applicant actually entered.

  • Submission reviews show the complete answer in a readable layout.
  • Per-field and total completion time are recorded for new submissions.
  • Review links open a dedicated, polished review surface.
  • Official forms can be disabled, archived, or removed safely.
  • Deleting a form with submission history archives it instead of destroying audit records.
  • Temporary workspaces are generated by missing-action context rather than manually created as empty shells.

Ownership and access are aligned again

Guild owners and managers are resolved from current Discord membership and role permissions. This fixes false denials when managing role panels, changing Core Tools, or redeeming an inventory item for a guild you own. Tabs are now gated from the same access projection used by the action itself.

Moderation workspaces and Discord logs stay connected

When a moderation action is missing required context, Orbit creates a temporary workspace and adds the workspace action to the Discord log. Saving or expiry removes that action. Voiding or deleting an action updates the Discord embed content and colour, not only the reason text.

A real Blog and a visual Changelog

System Administrators can now write articles and releases with structured headings, paragraphs, quotes, lists, code, images, callouts, cards, buttons, themes, publication dates, drafts, duplication, and revision protection. New changelogs appear once as an in-product release popup and remain available in the public archive.

Mobile polish across the dashboard

  • Dense two-column workspaces collapse into useful single-column flows.
  • Headers and action bars keep primary actions reachable without horizontal overflow.
  • Forms, review dialogs, diagnostics, catalog cards, and server workspaces use phone-sized spacing and tap targets.
  • Public pages and legal documents now share one responsive navigation header.

A dashboard should reflect the system you have, not the system a component vaguely remembers from five minutes ago.
